2010 Epicurean Delight Honorary Chair Jeff Philipps’ 39-year career in the food industry has taken him all over the country and straight to the top of the proverbial “food chain” as President & CEO of Rosauers Supermarkets, Inc. Jeff began his career as a box boy for Buttrey Foods in Great Falls, Montana; to Buttrey’s parent company, American Stores as National Director of Business Development; to Anchorage, Alaska where he served as Chief Operating Officer for Carr-Gottstein Foods Company; to Minneapolis to work for Rainbow Foods and eventually to Spokane as President & CEO of Rosauers Supermarkets. He is currently responsible for Rosauers’ 21 stores, 3 banner operations and 2,000 employees. In 2009, Rosauers was named the Washington State Retailer of the Year for their commitment to their employees in the wake of the roof collapse at their 5-Mile store, and for their active participation in the communities they serve.

Jeff is a committed volunteer and an active member in his church. He and his wife Kathie have 3 children ranging in age from 12 to 18.
